Mr. Williams is Senior Land Advisor for GulfTex Energy. He started with GulfTex in February 2013 as Vice President of Land and oversaw all facets of the Land Department. In November of 2022 he stepped down from Vice President of Land to take a more active role in Retama Minerals LP, an affiliate of GulfTex Energy. Prior to GulfTex, Mr. Williams was with Lewis Energy Group since 2007. Mr. Williams held several roles with Lewis Energy in the Land Department, including Acquisition and Divestiture Manager and Land Manager. Prior to working with Lewis, Mr. Williams had a diversified career that included working for the National Marine Fisheries Service in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, teaching high school in San Antonio, and working as an independent landman across Texas. Mr. Williams received a BS in biology from Southwest Texas State in San Marcos.
