Mr. Taylor joined GulfTex Energy as Controller in 2007 and was promoted to CFO in 2011 with the formation of GulfTex Energy II. Prior to joining GulfTex, Mr. Taylor was an independent consultant for four years at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, and for two years at Freescale Semiconductor in Austin, Texas where he worked with the company's IT organizations as a consultant, developing multidimensional databases.  Mr. Taylor also has worked for various subsidiaries of publicly traded companies including Cypress Semiconductor, LSI Corporation and Cirrus Logic, serving in numerous accounting and IT positions. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, earning a BBA degree with a double major in accounting and finance and was a licensed CPA for 20 years.
